Their 17th!!!

Greetings My Peoples,

Just wanted to let y'all know that Mom and Dad are celebrating their Anniversary today.... #17!!!!!!!!!!  Wohoo!!!  Party!!!
Man, if there are two people in this world that I look up to, it's my mom and dad.
Yep, so, I better get back to hangin' with the fam(;

1 Corinthians 13: 13
There are three things that will endure––faith, hope, and love––and the greatest of these is love.

Psalms 57: 10
For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.

Patton Family Update

Hello Dear Friends,
I hope you all enjoy the following Patton Family Update.
Thankfully, we are all healthy and very excited to finally enjoy some warmly welcomed nice weather!
Business is, as usual, demanding and encourages much faith on our part, in the Great Provider.  As things get tight and tighter still, we thank the God who parted the Red Sea, for his constant guidance and protection, as He opens doors we never knew existed at moments, that are seemingly, hours--even days--past when we thought the world might might come to an end.  One thing our life stresses includes at the moment is Dad being away-- at the Coast--for a good portion of most weeks.  We miss him greatly, but, as a family, we are so thankful to have work... praise the Lord!
Also, little Cyrus is doing very well, at almost 7 months!  He's one happy Patton pumpkin(:  He loves spending time giggling with Mommy and sisters.  And also seems to have LOTS of fun with Boaz... and Grant... ha ha, he's already making friends with dudes 15 years older than he is--he'll go far...

Romans 1:16
For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes...

Maranatha Beloved Ones!

On Spring

Our Lord has written the promise of resurrection, not in books alone, but in every leaf in springtime.

Hello!

Hello my friends,

As I haven’t posted for a LONG time, I thought I should take a minute and let y’all know what the Patton clan is up to lately.

Over all, it has been a bit of a demanding few months (part of the reason I haven’t posted for a long while).

Mom and Dad are both quite busy with trying to keep our self-owned construction company going--bidding, invoicing, dealing with the state and all that good stuff.  Also, our 15-passenger van and second work truck have sadly decided to die—which leaves us one work truck for our 14 member familyJ Although it’s a little inconvenient to only have one truck at the moment we are so aware of God’s great provision and feel very blessed to have an extra means of transportation in a time like this!

Watching my parents go through difficult times and maintaining a faithful, contented, and cheerful attitude is incredibly encouraging to me.  Truly, it is so evident that my Lord is in total control and that he has placed me in the perfect family to grow my love for Him as well as my faith in Him.

Joshua 24 : 15

. . . choose today whom you will worship . . . but I and my family will worship the Lord!”

Grace and peace dear ones!

Because of His love,

MacKenzie

Lots of kids!

After we paid for the trees and got everyone all loaded up, it was time to head over to the Country Cafe for hot coco.  It's been a tradition in the Patton family since we moved here from Texas about ten years ago, so it's one of those things that makes me feel kind of like a little kid again:)  All the younger ones had a great time and I think even the "older" ones really enjoyed it.

At the Tree Farm

Everyone was chomping at the bit to find this year's Christmas tree.

The trip

We went in two separate vehicles: my Dad's truck and our 15-passenger van.  Dad, Mr. Michael, Greg, Mary, Bryna and Lauren took the truck, while Mrs. Michael, Mom, Grant, Liz, Em, all the younger ones and I took the van.  Carpooling with the Michael Fam, made for a very "cozy", but all the more fun ride. Although we heard a lot of  "are we there yet?" and "I'm hungry, can I have a snack?" it was altogether a good time:)

Ha ha, good fun.

Getting ready

Christmas trees

Greetings Dear Ones,
Well, we, and the Michael family have our trees!  We all had an adventurous, messy, brilliantly fun time hunting for them.  Along the way, I captured as many of the joyous, bubbly moments as I could.  In the following posts I'd like to share them with all of you.

Enjoy!

"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the day approaching."
Hebrews 10:23-25

Love to all of you,
MacKenzie

Looking for the perfect tree...

Hello Friends,
Well, it's that time again!  Time to go get the perfect family tree.  We'll be taking off in about 2 hours to go hunt for ours with our close family friends the Michael family--yippee!  I've got lots to do (helping to get our team all ready) so I'd better run.  I'll let you all know how it goes and hopefully have some pix to share!

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting.
Psalm 107:1

Nightly news

Hey y'all,
This is MacKenzie:)
I wanted to let everyone know what the Patton family is up to this lovely and freezing cold night.  Just to warn you, it's not particularly interesting, but I'll tell you anyway:)  Mom left a little while ago with Liz, Em, Mary, and Bryna to do some Christmas shopping while, Dad, the younger ones, and I all stayed home.  At the moment, I'm in our family room with Dad and Cyrus.  Dad and I are fervently hoping that we'll get through the rest of the night without any "freak out sessions" with little Cyrus:)  He's doing well so far but we're keeping our fingers crossed!
I hope you're all doing very well.

2 Peter 1:2
May grace and peace be yours in abundance through full knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord!

In Christ Who is love,
MacKenzie

Mary

Bryna

Boaz (with Freja)

Our first dude--Boaz is nothing if not all boy!  His helpful and enthusiastic attitude is a great encouragement to us all.  I'm so excited to watch as he grows closer and closer to becoming the man God wants him to be.

Fiona

Fiona--what a picture of the fact that "children are 100% human"--I don't think I've talked with many adults with as bright, as inspirational, or as thought-provoking, a world view as my dear sister has--at only 6.

Kate

Kate--also affectionately known as "miss giggles" her smile brightens our home and lives daily.  It has been such a blessing to watch her as her personal walk with Christ grows and develops!

Adleigh (lower pic) and and Braelyn (upper pic)

Our chunky monkeys--the SECOND set of twins the Lord has miraculously blessed us with, wow!  We just love these girls.  Lately they love to dance, eat, sing, kiss Cyrus, play, and put together very "creative" outfits.
